In this capacity, Mark Magaletsky is overseeing EBRD operations in the energy, transport and municipal infrastructure sectors in Ukraine as well as policy dialogue with the central government and local authorities, including in the area of PPPs and concessions. The EBRD is the largest financial investor in Ukraine. As of January 2020, the Bank has an active portfolio of 81 projects in the country infrastructure and energy sectors for the total amount of €3.5 billion. Mark Magaletsky joined EBRD in 1998 and has extensive experience in the Bank’s Ukrainian operations in both state and private sectors. Prior to joining the EBRD, he worked for Bain & Company, a leading international strategic consultancy. Mark Magaletsky is a graduate of Kyiv National University of Economics.
