Born November 15, 1979. After graduating with a gold medal from the Physical and Technical Lyceum at CDU, the talented young man entered five higher education institutions at once - in Kiev, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson. However, he eventually opted for the specialty "Finance" and received his education from Kherson State Technical University, graduating with honors from the Faculty of Economics. Years of study at the State Technical University became a bright unforgettable period in the life of Yuri Gusev. Not surprisingly, a very active student, a true youth leader, he was the head of the Scientific Student Society of his home university and the initiator of his intellectual club "Giants of Thought", and at the same time - advisor to the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration AI Kasyanenko on youth politics and youth policy of the regional youth public organization "Young Nation". After graduating from the CSTU Yu.V. Gusev received his education from the Kiev National Economic University, where he received a master's degree in project management and successfully completed his postgraduate studies. He later went on to study at Staffordshire University (UK), Ukrainian Free University (Munich, Germany), the School of Public Administration. Kennedy at Harvard University (Cambridge, MA, USA), became a Candidate of Science in Economics, Assistant Professor and Visiting Professor at the Nueva Granada Military University (Republic of Columbia). Yuri Gusev has built a successful career and gained unique experience. He worked as a manager of several private companies in Kherson and Kyiv, was chairman of a group of advisers, director of the patronage service of the Minister of Economy and deputy director of the Ministry of Economy's Investment and Innovation Policy, adviser to the Minister of Finance and Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine. From 2017 - Director of Public Relations at JSC CB PrivatBank. In addition, Yurii advises the EBRD and the IFC. He teaches economics at various educational institutions in Ukraine and abroad. He is the author of a number of monographs, other scientific works, including articles on international and regional economics, development strategies and institutional transformations. Since July 2019, Yuri Gusev is the Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration. In his new position, he sees the development of Kherson region, improving the lives of local residents, creating quality tourism infrastructure, attracting investment in processing and irrigation. But most importantly, Yuri Veniaminovich strives to create comfortable conditions in order to live, work and invest in the Kherson region.
