Was born on August 1981 in Lviv. In 2003, graduated from the Law Faculty of Ivan Franko Lviv National University with a degree in Law and received the qualification of Master of Law. In 2008, Verlanov received a Ph.D. in Law from the specialty “Theory and History of State and Law; history of political and legal doctrines.” In the same year, began working as a lawyer in one of the Big Four companies - PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). From July 2015 to July 2018, served as a partner in one of the leading Ukrainian law firms Sayenko Kharenko, as the head of the tax practice. In 2015-2017, was a co-chair of the legal policy committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine. In 2016-2018, was a member of the Public Council of Virtue and the High Qualifications Commission of Judges of Ukraine (delegated by the Ukrainian Bar Association). Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine (from May 8, 2019). Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine (July 2018 - May 2019).
